How to Survive South Central LA

How to Survive South Central LA part 2 was a good turn out, alot of writers,non-writers and supporters came out and had a good time, people were showing alot of support and respect. The crowd was energetic, the vibe was positive. Met alot of people, collab with a few and chilled with the homies there, OG Huskey Radio kept the block bumpin' & tuned while rocking the Blood Sweat And Years T-shirt. Overall, the event came out great, everyone had a great time and the best part was, it ended with no drama.

LA Art Walk

My homie Memo told me he was gonna roll deep to the Art Walk,  so I decided to head out there to promote Street Product. Posted up next to Crewest Shop with my table and t shirts guerrilla style marketing, I was able to sell some shirts by the time the cops came tripping on me that I couldn't be there.  The streets was crowded and I had the chance to meet and chill with some cool heads there, Alkol and all his boyz, Paul from the Basement Store and Boog the one that draws all them dope tattoo flashes, he also bought two t-shirts from us.  I showed him couple of my tat work and he thought they were really good, it was so dope coming from him.

Elevated Motorsports

After getting home from the trip up north I got a message early that morning to come down and paint a wall in Pasadena.  Tired as hell with only 5 hours of sleep I had to get up and handle, I been pushing his date back couple times so I wanted to come thru for him.  Originally it was a Me and Moe production but I had hit up the homie Gros to help me bust.  It's always fun to paint with good friends knowing we all can bring something different to the table for a collaboration.

Downtown LA Bicycles

One of our productions done in downtown Los Angeles was a mural painted on a large window by me and Moezart.  It was kinda difficult coming up with an idea cuz the owner wanted a positive bike theme..but there is nothing positive that comes to mind when you give us paint and a wall.  So at the last minute we both came up with this..window rocked!!

Up North

After spending New years in Vegas for couple days we got home and got a phone call that we were heading up north one last time to visit my cousin in prison.  It was about a 15 hour drive there jam pack in a car.  We both knew how uncomfortable the trip will be but since we are so dedicated "no" was not an option. We pulled up to the prison entrance there was a sign saying no cameras..but it didn't stop me from jumping out and taking this flick. I was sworn right away by a bunch of guards who started sweating me and asking a bunch of questions..I got picked up and we shook the spot. As we were heading back we took some time to spend it with the family making stops to see Paul Bunyan and his Blue ox and some elks posted up.

Supporting My Boys

Our good homies was doing a hip hop event and we had to show our support there.  It was a different type of show that we normally do, but it was fun chillin with the homies. My boy Cypher had a chance to rock the mic since getting out, so it was nice seeing him perform. Big ups to my boy Carl and Kendogg doing their thing..gotta stay hungry!

Pros vs Joes

Grind Time hosts their rap and tattoo battle event, Pros vs. Joes. Held in the basement of Deja Vu strip club, the epic and most waited freestyle rap battle between Dizaster and Megadef.  You know Dizaster killed the mic and he was rocking the Street Product Gear.  Shout out to OG Huskey Radio for looking out for us.

Prime Suspect Show

The Prime Suspect Show hosted by Landmark shop in South Central was a show for some known graffiti writers in Los Angeles. We were running late and debating if we should head out but I'm glad we did cuz we had the chance to meet and chopped it up with an old skool writer from 29crew, Blake.
